About me

I am energized by solving complex problems and believe that great design can always be improved. I have a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Fox University and a Master of Science in Sports Product Design from the University of Oregon. I solve problems by investigating the intersection of technology, engineering, and design. My love for sports began with kick-and-chase soccer, leading to varsity involvement on soccer, basketball, and track teams, and through college playing on numerous intramural teams. I love exploring the outdoors and can regularly be found hiking in the Pacific Northwest.

I am a passionate and curious individual whose mission is to create innovative, beautiful, and highly functional sports products for all athletes. I have specific interest in data-driven design, additive manufacturing technologies, and inclusive solutions for athletes of all abilities and needs. My experience involves leading product development to create Nike’s first weight-lifting equipment line at Dimension 6 Fitness, designing female soccer boots that help prevent injuries at Ida Sports, designing sustainable helmet packaging concepts at Specialized Bicycle Components, and engineering medical devices to increase patient comfort at TZ Medical.
